Tibetan Singing Bowls Meditation Concert -The Gentle Power of Sound

Past event
Dec 6, 2014

Since the holidays are upon us, and there are many demands on our time and energy. We often forget to hydrate, to breathe deeply, and most of all, to just relax and support our body's immune system. Want an option to a high calorie Holiday Party? Come and enjoy the healing sound vibrations of Singing Bowls in the New North End. Bring your friends, spouse, neighbors, or parents to hear the relaxing sounds of the ancients. This session is held early enough in the day that you can even make it a pre-dinner event, or part of your evening outting.

This meditation will support your efforts to bring balance to your body, mind, and spirit, and support you through the fast pace of the holiday season. There will be a little bit of a change up this time which I will be incorporating into the session. If folks want to continue to work with sound bowls for stress relief, meditation and health benefits of calming the mind/body connection with the ancient sounds of singing bowls, additional sessions can be scheduled in this location.

I am pleased to announce the first scheduled Himalayan/Tibetan Singing Bowl Meditation at the the Heineberg Senior Center, 14 Heineberg Rd, Burlington, VT 05408 in the New North End (off North Avenue)

Date: Saturday, December 6, 2014
Time: 5 pm to 6 pm session. Arrive at 4:45 to get comfortable on floor or chair.
Cost: Suggested $10 donation is appreciated to assist with space rental

Pre-Registration is required to plan the space, call 802-233-4733.

Previous sessions held in Essex were filled and so well received that I was asked to continue hosting them at that location. This time however, I will be sharing the tranquil sounds and vibrational combinations of these standing bells in Burlington's North End Community, but open to all. This is an adult session and not scheduled specifically for children. However, that may also be a future option.

Dress comfortably for a relaxed session. Bring water in closed containers.

What to consider if you will be:
On the floor: Bring a yoga mat, or soft blanket to lay on, eye pillow, throw blanket.
In a chair: consider a yoga mat or nonskid cushion and throw blanket.
