The Halifax Celebration Committee will be sponsoring a Holiday Craft Fair at the Elementary School Cafeteria. Many local artisans will be displaying their wares. Activities for the kids will include a free wooden ornament to decorate as well as raffles and snacks.

The Halifax Community Hall Cafe will have several homemade Soups, grilled Cheese sandwiches, snacks and drinks available for lunch during the craft fair.

At the Cafe, you will be able to be a judge for the gingerbread house contest that will be on display.
Come join us Saturday December 14th at the Holiday Craft Fair and the Halifax Community Hall From 10:00- 2:00.

If you would like to enter the Ginger Bread House contest, here are the rules.
Enter the contest! Make a gingerbread house. Decorate it yourself. Bring it to the Community Hall /
Halifax Cafe to enter it into a contest. Rules:
(1) Make and decorate a gingerbread house on a base such as a shoebox lid or cookie sheet no larger
than 13x18 inches. Decorate the base, too!
(2) The gingerbread house and all its decorations must be edible, and your decorations must be hand-made (but you can use store-bought pieces of candy such as gumdrops and sprinkles)
(2) Bring it to the Halifax Café in the Community Hall, 20 Brook Road, West Halifax, on Thursday
December 12 from 10-1, or Saturday December 14, after 9 am, or by appointment
(3) Come see all the entries on Saturday December 14, 10:00am to 2:00 pm.
