The School Board will be holding a special meeting on December 11 in Executive Session to discuss Contracts. Because of the need for confidentiality there will be no public attendance at this Executive Session. This meeting will be followed on December 19 by a board meeting to discuss with the public our proposed budget for the coming year, starting at 5 PM. All are invited, we will present as much info as we have at this point and do the best we can to predict what our education taxes will look like in 2025. Please see the attached Agendas for the zoom link to the public meeting on the 19th. Thank you..... Marlboro School Board

Our Guiding Principles: Students will be at the center of our decision-making. We will keep to the agenda. The chair will estimate the amount of time necessary for each item and act as timekeeper during the meeting. Every voice is heard as discussion goes back and forth. Decisions will not be made hastily. We will ask ourselves, "What other information do we need in order to make a thoughtful decision?" Decisions/discussion will be recapped before moving on to a new item. Items requiring action will be identified and we will note who is responsible for each action item. Follow through will occur before the next meeting. We will use email judiciously to communicate between meetings. New issues or newly reported public grievances will be treated by the Board using the PAIR Model of "Pausing, Acknowledging, Inquiring, and Resolving". The Board does not commit to resolving issues that are immediately brought before it, but we do commit to acknowledgement of the issue.
Implementation Guidelines: Meetings will be held on the third Thursday of each month with other meetings to be warned as needed. The chair will send out the agenda the Monday before the meeting. The meetings will start at 6:30pm and go no later than 10:00pm.
