We invite farmers, food system organizations, and community members to participate in a series of community meetings focused on developing strategies to strengthen and sustain Northeast Kingdom food systems in the wake of recent flooding. Your input is crucial to shaping and supporting future resilience.
Upcoming Community Meetings:
Monday, December 9, 2:00-4:30 PM – Brunswick, at Essex County Natural Resource Conservation District
Tuesday, December 10, 10:00-12:30 PM – St. Johnsbury, at Catamount Arts
Tuesday, December 10, 6:00-8:30 PM – Craftsbury, at Craftsbury Outdoor Center
Together, participate in group exercises to determine flood planning and response strategies, as well as identify priorities for future action. Results from these meetings will inform a series of community action planning sessions in early 2025. Communities in the Northeast Kingdom will receive $22,500 to support priorities identified during these sessions.
Your voice matters—come help shape the future of your region's food resilience!
