"Spirituality: The art of keeping your internal fire alive."- Maxime Lagacé
You're invited to a new Read Aloud Series on Spirituality, to be held the first Wednesday of each month from 5:30-6:30, beginning December 4, in the Green Room of the Morristown Centennial Library. Each meeting will center on a specific theme, including Love, Mysticism, Eros, Death, Parenting, and Creation. Our first event looks at the theme of Love. Studies show the benefits of reading aloud to be improved memory, better cognitive function, focus, and mood.
Please bring a selection to read aloud of 3-5 minutes (fiction, poetry, scripture). You're also welcome to attend without reading. Discussion and simple refreshments will follow. The purpose of this series is not to proselytize or to promote religious practice; instead, we seek to share expressions of spirituality in its many marvelous forms.
