For all ages: Until Dec. 6, donate gently used, clean toys for our COMMUNITY TOY SWAP and/or come back on Sat. Dec. 7, 9am-4pm to pick out new-to-you toys. Donations are not required to participate. Dec. 2-14, try out the STEM CHALLENGE: Cozy Community Construction and make a 3D collage house and leave it at the library to be displayed in our collaborative cozy neighborhood during Train Hop on December 13th.

For younger children: Read and play together at PLAY TIME on Wed. Dec. 4, 10-10:45am or at STORY TIME on Thu. Dec. 5, 10-10:30am. Sing and dance with Linda Bassick at MUSIC TIME on Fri. Dec. 6, 10-10:30am.

For children: Join us on Zoom for KIDS IN THE KITCHEN to make a fun family recipe on Mon. Dec. 9, 4-5pm; register online for the link and recipe; this event is in collaboration with DAML.

For teens: Discuss upcoming programs and play writing and literary themed games at TEEN ADVISORY GROUP on Fri. Dec. 6, 4-5pm. Talk about your favorite fantasy books with other teens at TBR: TEEN BOOK RECOMMENDATIONS on Tue. Dec. 10, 5-6pm.

For adults: Work on your fiber craft project at FIBER ARTS CLUB on Fri. Dec. 6, 6-7:30pm. LEARN TO PLAY MAH JONGG on Fri. Dec. 6, 1-2:30pm as part of a six week series in partnership with the Essex Area Senior Center; sign up with Julie Shorter, Program Director for Older Adults at EJRP. Get one-on-one technology help at TECH HELP WITH CLIF on Mon. Dec. 9, 1-2pm; be sure to schedule an appointment at least 48 hours in advance at 802-878-6955. Discuss CURRENT EVENTS on Tue. Dec. 10, 10-11:30am; check online or call for hybrid options. ADULT MAKER KIT: Needle Felted Decorations is being released on Mon. Dec. 9 @2pm, 1 per family while supplies last.

All month long:

- Stop by the Kolvoord Community Room to see an exhibit from the Champlain Valley Quilt Guild.

- Visit our drop in programs including the COMMUNITY PUZZLE, and our ongoing swaps: PUZZLE SWAP, SEED SWAP, MAGAZINE SWAP, PATTERN SWAP, and COUPON SWAP.

- Youth can pick up a GINGERBREAD PERSON for a SCAVENGER HUNT around the youth library. Decorate your gingerbread person as you search; leave it to decorate the picture book room wall, or take it home.
