We are thrilled to confirm that we'll be holding a basic wilderness first aid class for SANDGATE RESIDENTS at 10am on Saturday, December 7.

The class is free, interactive and available for anybody in Sandgate.

The instructor, Jeni Slattery, has been a Vermont Hunter Education Instructor for the last 16 years and is responsible for teaching the First Aid segment of the Hunter Ed Certification Class to both youth and adults. Her area of focus for this class is to talk about typical outdoor illnesses and injuries and how to best react to these types of emergencies. These skills could also be useful in remote communities where emergency services may not be readily available. Jeni's teaching style is interactive with hands-on learning opportunities.
