Everything you always wanted to know about land trusts--from their history in Vermont to how they work, from what they conserve to how you might protect your land.

12/8, 2 pm, Fletcher Free Library Land Trusts in Vermont have played an important role from the late '70s and '80s in helping to preserve and protect lands, natural resources, wildlife, water quality, scenic views, as well as the history of how humans have interacted with the land. Come join Darby Bradley, the unofficial historian of the Vermont Land Trust, Livy Strong, head of the Jericho Underhill Land Trust,and Kate Lampton, head of the Charlotte Land Trust. to learn about these natural treasures within Chittenden County and how you might enjoy them and assist the trusts in preserving our quality of life.
