PLEASE NOTE CHANGES!!!! Northfield Activity Group invites you to our annual Christmas on the Common, please join us, your neighbors, and your community for this celebration of the start of this year's Christmas Season. Around 5:00 P.M. Dexter Rowe will entertain us with his masterful music and Christmas carols (you sing), please join in. At 6:00 P.M. will be the lighting of the Christmas tree (thank you to Abare's Tree Farm), immediately after the tree lighting SANTA will arrive via the Northfield Fire Department Truck (thank you NFD) as you and his Elves await his arrival. SANTA will be available for all the children (young and old) to speak with him and he will also have a candy cane and gift for each child, so bring your camera. SD Ireland will grace us with their spectacular lighted Holiday Truck (driven by our very own Thad Severy) early in the evening and there might even be a surprise visitor-you'll have to wait and see. Hot chocolate will be available for everyone and if you don't like chocolate (who doesn't) there will also be hot cider available. Students from Norwich University will be at our event for your assistance, if needed, and were very helpful in preparing for this event (so thank you Norwich University for doing all you do). THE CHANGES: CHANGE #1: Northfield Activity Group will be holding a raffle this year; tickets will be $1.00 each and there will be 2 prizes. The first ticket drawn will have their choice of which prize they want and the second number will get the remainder prize. Good Luck!!! CHANGE #2: Because of unforeseen circumstances the Farmer's Market will not be on the common for this event this year. Northfield Activity Group wants to thank everyone who helped in making this event possible, there were many helping hands and much generousity of several others.
