Planning for Winterfest 2025 is underway with a pre-events silent auction fundraiser at Bridgeside Books on December 7 from 3:00 p.m. to 4:45 p.m.

Businesses from the Waterbury-Stowe area have donated a variety of items, from gift cards to store merchandise. Donors range from bars and restaurants to sporting goods stores, gift shops, and inns. Proceeds from the auction go toward the supplies and spaces needed to hold events over the five days of the Winterfest festival, January 29-February 2, 2025.

Auction participants do not need to be present to win if they have the highest bid at closing (because we hope you're out in a prime spot to view the River of Light Lantern Parade, which starts at 5:00 p.m. that day!).

Participating businesses are listed on the Waterbury Winterfest website. A preliminary schedule of events is also available on the site.

Waterbury Winterfest is a volunteer-run, non-profit initiative that provides a venue for indoor and outdoor winter recreation events that bring community members and visitors together to beat the mid-winter blues. All proceeds from events and sponsorships go towards scholarships, grants, and supporting recreational activities in Waterbury throughout the year.
