Please spread the word. Food insecurity in our community is an often hidden, but real issue. Peacham school will be sponsoring free community food banks at the Peacham transfer station in November and December with the first one from 9:00am-2:00pm, Saturday, November 23rd. Please spread the word. If you know of anyone who may not be able to travel, but could use a food delivery, please let me know and I can deliver holiday food care packages.

To support this community resource I am seeking donations of frozen turkeys, veggies, eggs, butter, pies, and any non-perishable food items. Financial donations in support of this community resource are also welcome. This food bank was highly utilized last year and helped many local families experiencing food insecurity to have a happy and healthy Thanksgiving. Donations can be dropped off at the Peacham school during regular operating hours or you can make arrangements with me at sam.mcleod@ccsuvt.net
