The Federated Garden Clubs of Vermont (FGCV) has organized a bus trip to Boston-area gardens, departing Tuesday, July 8, 2025 and returning Wednesday, July 9. The bus trip and both tours will be hosted by renown Vermont gardener Charlie Nardozzi. On Tuesday, enjoy the beautiful New England Botanic Garden at Tower Hill. The 200-acre garden includes conservatories, formal and naturalistic gardens, a café, Garden Shop, walking trails and accessible pathways, with expansive views of the Wachusett Reservoir. Wednesday's schedule offers a private tour of the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum. This museum is part of Frederick Law Olmstead's Emerald Necklace and continues to recognize the importance of landscape architecture with both interior and exterior gardens. Tour cost for two persons sharing one double room is $619 per person. A single room is available for an additional fee of $189 per person. The cost includes one breakfast at the hotel, one boxed-lunch at the Botanical Gardens, entrance fees, baggage handling, and gratuities.
