A Home Full of Beautiful Things
The Collection of Taylor and Jennifer Buckner
Saturday, November 23
34 Town Line Road
Grand Isle/South Hero, VT.
9:00 a.m.

In 1972 Taylor Buckner, then a professor at Concordia University in Montreal, met the love of his life, Jennifer Grove, and they were married a few years later. They spent the next 49 years together traveling, educating themselves, working in their communities, and enjoying many wonderful facets of what life had to offer. After retiring in 1996, the couple moved to a stunning home on the Grand Isle/South Hero town line where Taylor started a retail shotgun business and Jennifer became immersed in her artistic endeavors, primarily pottery and stained glass. They quickly became well known in the community and embraced the Champlain Islands lifestyle.
In June of this year Taylor passed away at the age of 86, and Jennifer made the difficult decision to move into much smaller quarters.
Together the couple collected wonderful things. They were strong supporters of the arts and Vermont artisans are well represented in many categories throughout the sale. In addition Jennifer's artistic eye for color and form reverberates through the home from the rugs to the furniture to delightful accessories. Truly a sale not to be missed.
