Rebel Without a Cause is this week’s feature. A rebellious young man with a troubled past comes to a new town, finding friends and enemies. Director Nicholas Ray’s vision of suburban malaise made this one of the most influential films of the 1950s, and provided James Dean with the most memorable of his three film roles. The film also features Natalie Wood and Sal Mineo.
Admission is free and donations are gratefully received.
