Mastering and Teaching the Skill of Real Dialogue
Saturday and Sunday, November 23 & 24, 2024
10:00AM – 4:30PM (lunch break 1:00-2:30)

After integrating the Skill of Real Dialogue into your own life at home, at work and in the world, deepen
and enhance your ability to use it and to teach it to others. This training will allow you to master the "BeAttitudes" of Commitment, Constraint and Containment – the 3 C's of Real Dialogue. You will learn to
teach and work with others in avoiding polarization and becoming more effective in allowing for both
sides of disagreements so that problem-solving brings in diverse ideas and voices, improving team work
and decision-making.

Upon completion of this session, participants will be able to:
1. Practice and teach basic mindfulness to increase concentration and equanimity.
2. Utilize the "snow globe" meditation to increase your awareness of subjectivity and teach others to do
the same.
3. Employ the skill of Speaking for Yourself in times of emotional stress.
4. Instruct others in the skill of Speaking for Yourself with precision.
5. Employ the skill of Listening Mindfully through paraphrasing with precision.
6. Instruct others in the skill of Listening Mindfully through paraphrasing with precision.
7. Practice the skills of Real Dialogue during facilitation of a group discussion.
8. Analyze the issues surrounding Remaining Curious in relation to self-talk.
9. Employ the skill of Remaining Curious during times of emotional stress.
10. Instruct others in the skill of Remaining Curious during times of emotional stress.
