Jack Burnett will speak at the Halifax Café at 11:00 am, Saturday, November 23, 2024. Jack grew up in New Hampshire and, in the 1950's and 1960's, often visited his grandparents and other relatives in Halifax. He went on to become the Managing Editor of The Old Farmer's Almanac for many years. Jack will talk about his childhood and how he came to edit The Old Farmer's Almanac. Don't miss it!

The Halifax Café is open 10am-1pm on Thursdays & Saturdays, in the Halifax Community Hall, 20 Brook Road, West Halifax, supported by donations and volunteers. Snacks, beverages, and lunch will be available.
