If you're concerned about flooding and want to work with neighbors to develop solutions, consider joining Community Resilience for the Waterbury Area (CReW) on Wednesday, Nov. 20th, at 6 pm on Zoom for their first Flood Mitigation Committee meeting.
CReW is bringing together neighbors from Middlesex, Waterbury, Duxbury, Moretown, and Bolton to share ideas, learn about ongoing projects, and figure out how to work together to protect homes and towns from future floods.
Who should join this meeting?
• People who care about preventing floods and want to share ideas or learn more.
• Anyone interested in sharing updates with their neighbors or gathering ideas from their neighbors about reducing flood risks.
• Environmental professionals or folks working to lessen future flood damage or who have ideas on how to do this.
This is a great way to get involved locally and make a difference. Whether you have experience, ideas, or just want to help, we'd love to see you there.
