At 7 pm on November 20, celebrate the 130 th anniversary of the Ondawa-Cambridge Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR), with Carman Bogle and JoAnn Trinkle, current and past Regents, as speakers. Learn about the history, mission, and modern expression of this venerable institution. Come early (6 pm) for a tour of the house, and see the Museum's display of DAR treasures, including 5 dresses worn by previous Regents in the 20 th century. Be a part of this joyous event as we celebrate the work of generations of women in our community in the place where it all began - 12 Broad Street- the home of the Cambridge Historical Society and Museum.
The program will be held on the first floor of the Museum, which is accessible to all. The Cambridge Historical Society and Museum is a not-for - profit 501 (c) (3) independent museum, and is provisionally chartered by the New York State Board of Regents. It is wholly maintained by donations and the work of its dedicated volunteers. Suggested donation: $0-$10.
