All are invited to a Spaghetti Dinner to benefit our local Boot Fund which provides warm, winter clothing for families in need. Dinner is by donation ($10 per person suggested) and will feature pasta, salad and garlic bread. Dessert is potluck so feel free to bring something for all to enjoy. All proceeds will go to the Boot Fund.

Kerrigan’s Convenience & Café and the Burke Area Chamber of Commerce are teaming up to host, cook and serve the meal. The benefit dinner is in response to a challenge from the Lyndon Area Chamber of Commerce. They held a walk in October and raised $2,000 for the Norris Cotton Cancer Center North in St. Johnsbury! They promptly challenged the Burke Chamber to host an event and raise money for a good cause. Q Burke Mountain Resort has already stepped in and made a donation of $250 for the Boot Fund! Together with the pros at Kerrigan’s and the generosity of the folks at Q Burke, we hope to raise at least $2,000 to help local kids and families stay warm this winter! Help us get there by enjoying a home-cooked meal with friends and neighbors to support a great cause! The spaghetti dinner is at the Burke Community Center at 212 School Street in West Burke (next to the Town Clerk offices) with seatings at 5 and 6:30 pm.
