The Champlain Valley Lions Club will host a Thanksgiving Food Drive on Saturday. Lions volunteers aim to collect more than 500 pounds of non-perishable food, household and personal care items, all of which will be donated to the Shelburne Food Shelf. Cash donations will also be accepted and presented to the Food Shelf. Fixings for the Thanksgiving meal will be especially appreciated: gravy, canned veggies, canned squash and pumpkin pie fillings or pie crust mix. Lions will have a short list of Food Shelf needs at the Market, where there will be hot drinks for donors.
