Craftsbury photographer and naturalist Elinor Osborne is exhibiting her large-format giclée prints of Snowy Owls, Barred Owls, Saw-whet Owls and more, all photographed in Vermont, at the Greensboro Free Library for the month of November. She will present a program all about owls on Friday, November 22 at 10:30am in the library's program room. Everyone is welcome! Osborne will share her pictures and owl sound recordings and talk about her experiences observing and photographing owls. She has been capturing nature scenes, birds and animals with her camera for many years, and writes, "Photography enables me to see details of nature which remain hidden from casual observation." Osborne is the photographer and author of the children's book Project UltraSwan, about a trumpeter swan migration project following ultralight aircraft, as well as a winner in 2009's Backyard Birds Contest, sponsored by the most prestigious American nature photography magazine, Nature's Best Photography.
