Those of you who know John Kerrigan, know of his wit and wisdom. John has taken his many years of teaching and coaching and has created a funny, enjoyable book just published by BookBaby and available at local stores (Bridgeside Books in Waterbury and Tempest in Waitsfield). "Just Raise Your Left Hand" features protagonist Joe Tepedino, whom regular Writers' Wertfrei members will recognize, teaches and coaches at Softwood High and relates his and his students and athletes adventures and misadventures. Witty, tongue-in-cheek, and inspiring, Kerrigan will be attending the Writers' Wertfrei meeting this Saturday, November 16th from 11:30-noon to share his experiences of the writing, editing and publishing process with us. He will also have books for sale at a discounted price. We will be meeting upstairs in the area just in front of the big windows facing northwest.
