The 19th annual Johnson Holiday Jubilee is back, bringing festive cheer and community spirit to Johnson! Join us on Saturday, December 7th throughout Main Street Johnson from 3:45 to 6 pm for a celebration filled with free, family-friendly activities, live entertainment, and heartwarming traditions from around the world.
Thanks to a grant from the Vermont Community Foundation, this year's Jubilee promises to be bigger and better than ever, featuring a **new Holiday Parade** to kick off the event! The parade will begin at 3:45 at the Municipal Building showcasing 15 festive floats, community groups, local performers, and Mr. & Mrs. Claus. It will end at the Audibert Village Green. All other activities begin throughout Main Street at 4 pm.
Other highlights of this year's Jubilee include:
- Hay Rides: Get from event to event, Vermont style via tractor! Hop on and off at various locations throughout Main Street.
- Live Entertainment: Enjoy performances from the Ukeladies, Chris Lyons, Chimie Bangoura, and the Community Carolers, bringing the holiday spirit to life.
- Children's Activities: Kids of all ages can enjoy solstice crafts, stories under the tree, face painting, West African drumming workshops, Hanukkah games/food/fun, visits with Santa, and MORE, ensuring an inclusive and magical experience for everyone.
- SD Ireland Truck: This iconic lit-up truck will be parked along Main Street to dazzle everyone who sees it!
- Food and Refreshments: Warm your soul with homemade hot chocolate under the tent, cider and cookies at various locations, and S'mores around the fire pits! Support our local economy and grab dinner at one of Johnson's fabulous restaurants.
We're thrilled to bring the community together for this beloved tradition! Please stay tuned for a complete list of activities hosted by our incredible Johnson businesses and organizations.
