How Does Class Relate to What Our Community is Facing?

Past event

The Johnson Public Library, Jenna's Promise and Vermont Humanities are sponsoring an important panel discussion this Tuesday 11/19, focused on a variety of challenges our community faces (including housing insecurity, food insecurity, addiction, and other issues). Refreshments will be offered at the event, along with free child-care.

This discussion stems from the book "Gather" by VT author Kenneth M. Caddie. This impactful story is extremely relevant for Lamoille County. The Johnson Public Library supplied our Waterville library with free copies to hand out (we still have a few copies left!).

Please join us as we learn how we might support families going through various challenges in our area. The Waterville Town Library will be launching a food drive following the event.

Any questions about the event? Please reach out to Jenna's Promise at (802) 343-8741
