Hi neighbors,

The first pack walk over at Mills Riverside went great! People and their dogs had a nice time and it was lovely to see all the dogs settle in and people start to feel more comfortable walking together.

There was interest in getting together more often, so instead of monthly, I'll be hosting the walks biweekly!

We'll meet this Saturday at 10 at Mills Riverside, just past the bridge when you walk in.

All dogs are welcome! We'll start by giving everyone plenty of space so they can comfortably handle their dogs. I'll help everyone get in tune with their dogs and then we'll walk on the leashed trails some, taking breaks in the open areas.

Whether your dog is wildly reactive or just a bit of a puller, this is a great opportunity to work on changing that. I will speak to the group as a whole but I'll also be moving around to work with everyone individually.

We'll work on leash handling, understanding reactivity, maintenance strategies, and training to change your dog's mindset.

For everyone's safety and comfort, we won't have any on leash greetings. We will stay in the on-leash sections of Mills, and we deeply appreciate all those who respect the guidelines there.

Walks are $20 and can be paid in cash, check, or Venmo.
