Sterling College is honored to be hosting a free Community Dinner followed by a public screening of the film "INHABITANTS: Indigenous Perspectives in Restoring the World" this coming Friday, November 15th.
From deserts, coastlines, forests, mountains, and prairies, Native communities are restoring their ancient relationships with the land. As the climate crisis escalates these time-tested practices of North America's original inhabitants are becoming increasingly essential in a rapidly changing world. The film showcases how Native Americans have successfully been stewarding and shaping the landscapes for millennia, but colonization is disrupting their ability to maintain traditional land management practices.
