Dear Neighbors,

I wanted to extend an invitation for a community event this Wednesday evening from 7:15-8:15PM on the lawn of the First Unitarian Universalist Church (152 Pearl Street). This will be a time to join with friends, family, and neighbors in the name of peace. There will be members from various faith organizations, students, and community members in attendance. All are welcome.

I know that the holidays can often bring up anxiety and uncertainty for many. That coupled with the unrest many of us feel coming out of a very divided election season can exacerbate those feelings So, the agenda is simple- to be in community and hold a peaceful moment of communion and fellowship.

Please bring some sort of non flammable source of illumination (phone flashlight, hand held flashlight, battery operated candle) and bundle up. I look forward to seeing you there. Remember, we have more in common than what divides us.
