Join us at the Pierson Library for a live presentation by Vermont's State Climatologist, Dr. Lesley-Ann Dupigny-Giroux.

As extreme weather events become more frequent and climate change accelerates, the scope and intensity of natural disasters continue to grow. This phenomenon, often referred to as "climate chaos," is a defining challenge of the 21st century.

In this talk, part of our ongoing series with the Shelburne Climate & Energy Committee, Dr. Dupigny-Giroux, an expert on floods, droughts, and extreme weather, will discuss the current and future impacts of climate change on our region.
Hear her discuss climate and weather trends and what the future might have in store for us.
