On-The-Border Morris: Dance Performance & Workshop

Calling all folk dancers! Morris Dancing is an ancient, traditional English dance form. Dancers perform in costume to the beat of drums and the sounds of acoustic instruments.

Join us on 11/12 at the Pierson Library and see a dance performance live, then learn the steps yourself in this fascinating workshop from On-the-Border Morris, a group carrying on the tradition here in Chittenden County.

Dances may include Poaching and Belligerent Blue Jay. Featuring Hank Bissell on fiddle, Albert Joy on accordion, and Amy Joy Lines on Melodica.
