The Bristol Hub is pleased to offer another session of PREP (Personal Responsibility Education Program) to 12-19 year olds in the 5-town area on Monday, November 25th; and Tuesday, November 26th; from 10AM to 4PM both days.
The curriculum is evidence based with the goal of arming adolescents with the knowledge, confidence and skills necessary to reduce their risk of sexually transmitted infections (STIs), HIV and pregnancy by abstaining from sex or using condoms if they choose to have sex. During the classes we cover:
-Anatomy
-Menstruation
-Gender Identity and Expression
-Sexual orientation Spectrum
-Contraception
-Consent
-Safer sex practices for STI and HIV prevention
The program is offered in partnership with Vermont Afterschool, all youth who complete the class will receive a $125 stipend.
