Join Tomas Achaval from Nómade Winery in Argentina at Michael's on the Hill for a five-course dinner on Wednesday, December 11, starting at 5:30.
"I have spent the past 25 years exploring the vast wine regions in the foothills of the Andes Mountains. I discovered where each selected grape varietal can reach its full and optimal expression, capturing the character of the region.
This adventure has taken me from the valleys of Mendoza to some of the world's highest vineyards in Salta, as well as 'the end of the world' – the incredible Patagonia.
These terroirs are my inspiration! The Andes produce wines with tremendous personality due to its conditions: extreme altitudes, dramatic temperature fluctuations, and intense solar radiation.
In these areas, grapes like Malbec and Torrontés flourish unlike anywhere else in the world. The tannins become sweeter, softer, and rounder. The minerality and fruit expressions explode."
This dinner will feature curated wine/food pairings with the following wines:
Nómade – Torrontés
Nómade – Pinot Noir
Nómade – Malbec
Nómade - Syrah
Nómade - Petit Verdot
We look forward to you joining us for this very special evening. Please call 802-244-7476 to secure your reservation. This dinner costs $145 per person.
