🗣️ We need flood relief... and to celebrate our community!
NEKO has dispatched 300+ volunteers to 500+ homes affected by the 2024 floods. We are doing a final push for work crews to muck out homes, and also hosting a celebration for flood survivors, volunteers, and the community on Sunday, November 3.
Join a work crew from 11-3, and/or please join us afterward for dinner, drinks and live music from 3-6!
We will have beef lasagne, (and vegetarian / gluten free options), roasted vegetables, garlic bread, salad, hot apple crisp with ice cream, and various beverages including beer, wine, and hot mulled cider. We hope you can join us!
This event is co-hosted with Eden Ciders, which produced a specialty 'Muck and Guts' Cider, to be featured at the dinner. Support for this meal has also been provided by Libby's Market, Price Chopper, and Aunt Dee Dee's (thank you!!).
Open to all community members! If you are a flood survivor or volunteer, please join us for a free meal! Suggested donation of $10-$20 for folks who weren't affected by the flood or didn't volunteer, with all funds going to ongoing flood relief through Kingdom United Resilience & Recovery.
