Colder weather is here again! Come get a warm dog coat for your furry family member on Sunday November 3, 2:30-5:00PM in the parking lot at Guy's Farm & Yard in Montpelier. Look for The Mitzvah Fund's big blue and white mobile veterinary hospital.
Bring your dog (on a leash please or in your car) for a personalized fit by our super volunteers. OR bring your dog's measurements: from the base of their neck to the base of their tail and around their chest just behind their front legs.
ALL DOGS ARE WELCOME - In particular, we hope to help anyone with short-haired rescue dogs from the southern states. Most of these dogs have no ability to grow their own warm winter coat. We don't know what this winter will bring but we can be pretty sure there will be cold and wet days. Help your pup stay warm and dry.
The Mitzvah Fund also welcomes additional donations of gently used, clean, dog coats (Large & X-Large especially needed) which we will distribute at our mobile veterinary clinics throughout the winter. Financial contributions in any amount are also greatly appreciated. Please visit our website: www.themitzvahfundvt.org to learn more about our work and make a donation to help provide veterinary care for the companion animals of our most vulnerable neighbors.
Huge thanks to our local business supporters who helped make this event possible. Please thank and shop at Guy's Farm & Yard, North Branch Cafe and Splash in Montpelier and Pearl Street Pizza and Morse Block Deli & Taps in Barre. See you Sunday!
