The Dave Keller Band will be rocking the VOH this Saturday night, November 2 at 7:30pm!
Keller knows how to fill the dance floor! But just as importantly, he connects with his fans in a real way, breaking down the barrier between performer and audience, creating an experience that everyone remembers long after the show is over. Since 1993, Keller has performed thousands of shows in New England from his home base in Montpelier, VT.
Opening the show will be local blues piano hero Chris Wyckoff and saxophonist Avery Cooper.
Both Avery and Chris are lifetime musicians who have been in the Vermont music scene for many years and have played in bands such as Panton Flats, The Good Parts, and Into the Mystic.
One of the premier torchbearers of Deep Soul and Roots music, Dave Keller's dynamic, high energy performances have earned him a legion of fans throughout the U.S. and Europe. Three-time BMA nominee for Best Soul Blues Album, Keller and his "tighter than tight" band (Blues Music Magazine) have performed in almost every state east of the Mississippi and quite a few west of it. His touring schedule regularly includes some of the largest and most respected festivals and venues in the U.S. With his recent European tour and glowing articles in the European press (Rolling Stone France, Music Republic Magazine UK, etc.) Keller continues to expand his fanbase internationally. His new album, It's Time to Shine, scored as Top Ten for the Big Blues Radio Chart in October and November 2023.
Tickets are available at https://www.vergennesoperahouse.org and are $15 in advance and $20 at the door.
The doors and cash bar open at 6:30pm. General seating.
All proceeds of the concert go toward All Access Project (https://www.vergennesoperahouse.org/all-access-project/) making the VOH accessible to EVERYONE!
