The Re-Imagine Johnson task force to Capitalize and Increase Recreation Economy Opportunities (CIREO) has begun work!
This task force values involvement by ALL stakeholders.. We appreciate work that has already been done, as well as policies that exist. The project will be most successful if we listen to everyone and consider the current circumstances. We look forward to hearing from you and others involved in the recreation economy of Johnson: recreationalists; businesses; representatives of committees, groups, clubs; planners and policy makers; and experts from national, state, regional, local agencies.
The next meeting of the Recreation Economy task force is at 6:30 pm, Monday, November 11, in the "Hall of Fame" room of the Shape Facility of the Johnson Campus of Vermont State University. The Hall of Fame room is a meeting space on the second floor of the Shape Facility, immediately to the left as one exits the elevator.
The Co-Chairs of the Recreational Economy Task Force are Kathy Black (kathyblack789@gmail.com) and Diana Osborn (djgosborn@gmail.com). Please reach out with any questions and provide us with your email address, if you would like to be on the mailing list.
Please come share your ideas, needs, and expertise. We look forward to working together on this exciting project.
