League of Women Voters of Vermont (LWVVT), in partnership with Kellogg-Hubbard Library, presents the first in the 2024-'25 lecture series on Recent Supreme Court Decisions. This season we look at potential impacts of five important SCOTUS decisions issued since 2022.
The first program, on Wednesday, November 13 at 7:00 pm features Rod Smolla, President of Vermont Law School, who will discuss Trump v. US, the decision granting near total legal immunity for any official actions taken by the President of the US.
The League of Women Voters of Vermont Lectures, in its ninth season, is designed to bring outstanding speakers to discuss contemporary issues related to democracy and social justice.
