Join the Moretown Library and Friends of the Mad River for a gathering hike this weekend! This wander in the woods will be led by naturalists Cory Stephenson and Luke Foley, celebrating the Vermont Reads program and their chosen title, "Gather" by Kenneth M. Cadow.

The Vermont Reads program invites Vermont communities to plan projects and events centered around a novel and its themes. The chosen novel for 2024 is "Gather" and its themes of rural life, resilience, class differences, addiction, housing and food insecurity, a deep relationship to the land, and the power of community. You do not need to have read the book to attend.
