The Calais Board of Abatement will hold a Hearing on Monday, November 4, 2024, at 5:00 pm
at the Calais Town Office and via Zoom with the following agenda items:

• Call to Order
• Approve Minutes of July 22, 2024 and July 29, 2024
• Inquire if any BOA Member has had any ex parte communications with the taxpayers involved, or has any conflict of interest, perceived or otherwise, with the taxpayers involved
• Consider Application submitted by Town Treasurer Kari Bradley to abate 2023 and 2024 interest and principal in the amount of $277.01 for Parcel #300526 and 2024 interest in the amount of $11.10 for Parcel #091519 due to Lister error
• Possible Action: Deliberative Session to discuss request and findings of fact
• Possible Action: Vote an abatement decision
• Adjournment

This Hearing is open to the public. A Board of Abatement Hearing is a quasi-judicial proceeding, which means that members of the public must be notified of the Hearing but may only observe.
The Board may hear only from taxpayer(s) associated with the Application, Listers, or someone
else from Town government, or anyone called by the Board as a witness to provide information.
