Before spotting all sizes of 'glacial erratics' , meet first at the historic 1874 one room Jerusalem Schoolhouse (397 Jerusalem Rd, off Rt 17 behind the country store in South Starksboro but Google will say it's in Lincoln.) Come inside this community center for a quick intro and future plans then carpool/caravan a short way to the start of the roughly 3 mile dirt road walk. A walking pace with local and natural history info, and views of the nearby Monroe Skyline with two of VT's high peaks! The time length is variable but you can peel off anytime. Dress for the weather (and wear something orange)- will be held rain or shine or snow, boots handy as one garage size! is at edge of a wet field, bring water and snack.
