Are you an athlete, parent, or coach? Are you always heading out-of-town to find sports equipment? Exciting news: Downtown Waterbury may soon be home to a sports store and the owners would like your input!

Caleb Magoon, of Power Play Sports in Morrisville, is one partner involved in the possible project. Magoon says the store could include gear similar to Power Play: baseball, hockey and lacrosse, as well as skis, bikes and used gear. “What’s most important is that we reflect the needs in Waterbury,” says Magoon.

Waterbury-area residents and businesses are invited to come together on December 1 and share their opinions on what they would like to see in a potential sporting goods store. It will also be an opportunity for community members to meet and greet with the prospective owners. So, join us and share your thoughts!
