Hello Neighbors,
Happy Thanksgiving!
The Vermont International Festival will be taking place next Friday, December 5, through Sunday, December 7, and we still have some volunteer opportunities available. If you are interested in helping out, please contact me through this posting or you can get in touch with the International Festival office at 863-6713 or VIF@vpal-us.org.
There are a variety of opportunities to help out including:
...setting up at the Expo Center on Wednesday and/or Thursday morning/afternoon/evening (hanging flags, signs, covering tables....) (flexible times)
...breaking down at the Expo Center on Sunday evening (beginning at 5:00 p.m.)
...selling tickets on Friday, Saturday and/or Sunday (we could use a few more hands Saturday from 3:00-6:00, Sunday from 10-12:30, 12:30-3:00 or 3:00-5:00)
...staffing craft booths temporarily (to allow vendors working alone to use the restroom, eat a quick meal, etc.) on Friday during the day, Saturday and/or Sunday
...keeping the food court clean
It’s a great opportunity to spend time volunteering with friends and/or family members (plus you get to enjoy the festival on the day you volunteer for free)!
The Vermont International Festival is a celebration of cultures from around the world and includes outstanding ethnic entertainment, delicious cuisine representing countries all over the world, and authentic craft items.
