On Saturday, November 9, the Craftsbury Public Library will host a Repair Workshop. Skilled community members will be at the library to share advice and pointers on how to fix items, or provide repairs on the spot for smaller items. There will be stations for knitted and woven items, sewing repairs, wood projects, computer help, knife sharpening, and home energy improvements. The workshop will run from 10am to 1pm, and is free of charge. Throughout the morning there will be door prizes and free snacks available as well!
Do you have a skill we don't have covered that you'd like to share? Would you like to contribute by offering up some delicious baked goods to share? Reach out to Susan at the library!
This project is possible thanks to financial support from the Association for Rural and Small Libraries, and assistance from partners Sterling College and the Craftsbury Energy Committee. For more information, contact the library at 802-586-9683.
