Wildlife Tracking Immersion starting Tuesday January 7th
Cold Hollow to Canada is offering a new weekday Wildlife Tracking Immersion program this winter, taking place Tuesdays in January. It's open to any adult residents of the region (from Jeffersonville to Jay Peak) who'd like to develop their ability to recognize wildlife tracks and signs. We'll spend our field sessions exploring diverse wildlife habitat and investigating tracks, trails, wildlife behavior, territorial marking, feeding sign and more--learning how to track animals with or without snow. Participants will also have an opportunity to join one of our tracker volunteer teams to monitor trail cameras, wildlife corridors and road crossings following this training.
Program runs 12:30-4:30 p.m. on Tuesdays, Jan 7, 14, 21 & 28
