Even though it stills feels like Summer, the calendar says it really IS time to start planning for Stick and Snow Season. "To every thing there is a season..."
This Saturday, Oct. 26th, looks like another great day to come on up to Dog Mountain and enjoy the camaraderie of other folks joining in our Volunteer Pack to get ready for what comes next. We will be working from 9:30am-4:00pm.
We need folks who can come for a few hours or all day to work on some of the following:
*simple carpentry repair (BYO tools :-)
*collect and store seasonal furniture, artwork, planters, and shade sails
*power-wash and prep for painting the Patio zone
*daffodil bulb planting (bulb planting tools appreciated!)
Dog Mountain will provide snacks and lunch as always. You bring your pawsitive spirit and be ready to make new friends and connect with some doggos as well. It's all good.
If you can only put in a few hours that day, no worries. Let me know which tasks you'd like to help with and when you plan to attend.
