Our grassroots giving circle of local women is next Wednesday, Oct. 30th, both online via Zoom (starting at 5:15pm) and in person at Temple Sinai, 500 Swift St., South Burlington (starting at 5 with a half-hour social). Our meeting starts promptly at 5:30. We'll give a quick update on our group, hear from three nonprofits that we randomly selected to present about their work, and wrap up by 6:30.

WHO WE ARE: We are a group of women who pool our donations to make impactful gifts to nonprofit organizations in Chittenden County. Collectively we donate more than $18,000 to local nonprofits four times a year – that's $72,000+ annually! Now in our 5th year, we've donated over $250,000 to 44 nonprofits and grown to over 190 active members.

Every 3 months, we randomly choose 3 nonprofit organizations nominated by members to present at our upcoming membership meeting. We vote for the primary recipient, then distribute all of our quarterly donations (comprised of $100/per member or team) to them. The primary recipient gets $10,000, while the other two split the remainder.
