Greetings! this is a friendly reminder that the Town of Fletcher is holding a special meeting on Thursday, October 24, 2024, at 6 PM at the Fletcher Elementary School to vote on whether or not to use Australian Ballot voting on town and school matters. There will be a moderated discussion with questions and answers and a vote afterward.
As many of you may already know, the motivation for seeking this change to 'traditional' town meeting was to allow a more equitable and inclusive voting process for all Fletcher voters.
The good news is there will still be a meeting!! Details will be discussed at the meeting. Please pass along this information to friends and neighbors. The link to the meeting warning is below.

You must be a registered voter in Fletcher and attend this one in person to cast your vote until the change is approved to move to Australian Ballot.
