Posting this reminder about our fall work day at the Stranahan Forest, preparing for major repairs and improvements on the Thompson Road (the main trail bisecting the forest). We'll meet at the Hollister Hill parking lot at 9 AM this Saturday, October 26. Please join us to help do some general trail maintenance, posting of signs, clearing along the Thompson Road, and other projects. Bring gloves, sturdy boots that can get wet, and your favorite loppers if you have them - we will have tools to share as well.

The Thompson Road repairs/improvements are scheduled to begin on November 1; this trail, and the Hollister Hill parking lot, will be closed while the work is in progress. We'll post an update when the work is completed and the trail is reopened.
