Join staff from HEART Wildlife Removal on Saturday, November 2nd at the Humane Society of Chittenden County to learn about the effectiveness of rodent birth control for rats and mice! Pest control for rats and mice frequently involves rodenticides, which can cause secondary poisoning to wildlife and pets. This seminar will discuss the dangers of rodenticides and the wildlife-friendly alternative of rodent birth control (including a product demo).
Special guest Craig Newman from Outreach For Earth Stewardship, located in Shelburne, VT will be bringing a wildlife ambassador raptor. Raptors are one of the many species that are affected by secondary poisoning from rodenticide boxes.
This seminar is free and open to the public (no registration required) and will be held in the HSCC Classroom, located off our lobby at 142 Kindness Court in South Burlington.
