John Abele, co-founder of Boston Scientific, Inc and Shelburne neighbor will speak about his quest to solve the mystery of the USS Grunion, a World War II submarine which sank without a trace off the Aleutian Islands. All hands were lost, including John's father, the commander of the sub.

This event will be held in Perry Hall on the Champlain College campus, and is being co-sponsored by Champlain College and the Ethan Allen Institute and I urge you to join us for what I am sure will be an interesting evening.
