The Progressive Caucus would like to extend an open invitation to tomorrow's Vermont Palestine Conference: The Struggle for Land and Liberation, which will be held at the Old North End Community Center on October 19 from 10 AM to 7 PM.

We invite everyone to participate, regardless of their perspective. We believe that open dialogue, education, and respectful discussion are vital to moving forward. Please note that the CJC will also be facilitating subsequent conversations on this topic in the near future.

This conference will feature workshops and discussions on justice and human rights in Palestine. The event will provide a space for people of all viewpoints to come together to learn about the historical context and the global implications of the ongoing conflict, engage in constructive conversations and workshops designed to foster deeper understanding and find common ground on shared values like human rights, peace, and dignity for all.

What to Expect:

Skill-Building Sessions: learn how to engage in dialogue and activism that promotes justice and human rights for everyone affected.

Speakers and Panels: Featuring voices from activists, scholars, and community members.

This gathering is for everyone who wants to deepen their understanding of Palestinian liberation and its connections to other intersecting struggles, both globally and locally here in Vermont. It's a space for organizers and newcomers alike to come together, strategize, learn from one another, and advance our collective fight for justice. This event is a chance to deepen your understanding, build solidarity, and work toward actionable change.

This event is completely free and open to the public—though donations are welcome. Lunch will be served by People's Kitchen.
